About Paul
Paul was born and raised in the U.K. and emigrated to Canada in 1993. He worked in sales for a major Canadian energy company for over twenty years.
He’s an avid collector of all types of detective fiction and mysteries. His favourite present-day authors include Ian Rankin, Anthony Horowitz and Robert Galbraith. He’s also a big fan of film noir from the forties and fifties. Like most people, Paul discovered these classic films watching ‘Noir Alley’ on TCM, with Eddie Muller.
The Connie is the first book released from The Rick Marshall Files. So far, there are five in total: The Connie, Be-Bop Deluxe, Double Down, Fast Cats and A Wing and a Prayer.
Paul has previously written a comic crime caper set on a Caribbean cruise, called Going Overboard. He is married to Kate (The Boss) and has three children. He lives in North Vancouver, BC, and plays and sings in a local band, The Celtic Cowboys.
